About Usee

Josef Jamdar, the founder of Usee Tattoo, was born in Tehran in 1990. From an early age, his passion for design and art was undeniable, guiding him along a unique and transformative path. At the age of 18, Josef entered the world of tattooing a world that for him embodied freedom of expression and boundless creativity. Driven by relentless dedication and a deep love for his craft, he traveled to Istanbul to hone his skills, learning under some of the field’s most respected masters.

In 2015, Josef moved to Germany, a country with a rich tattoo culture that offered him greater opportunities for growth and innovation. Starting his career independently in Dessau, he soon realized his ambitions went beyond this small city. In 2019, he made his way to Berlin, where he opened his first studio, Usee Tattoo, on Neue Kantstraße6 in Charlottenburg, sharing his talent and artistry with a broader community.

 

Then, in 2023, a new and exciting opportunity arose. The iconic Uberplatz (formerly Mercedes Platz) offered Josef a collaboration that would mark a major turning point in his career.

Today, Usee Tattoo is home to eight dedicated artists, along with visiting guest artists from around the world. One of Josef’s primary goals is to make Usee Tattoo a space for artists whose talents often go unseen due to limitations in the industry. With Usee Tattoo, he’s created a platform where true artistry can shine, providing clients with not only high-quality tattoos but a unique and personalized experience. Josef believes art deserves to be seen, and Usee Tattoo is his way of sharing that belief with the world.

By December of that year, he proudly opened the second branch of Usee Tattoo at Uberplatz, a testament to his commitment and vision. But this is only the beginning for Josef, he plans to bring Usee Tattoo to other countries, making it a global brand.
